it's been a long time i wanted to say a few words about alcopops

These beverages tend to have an alcohol content which is similar to straight alcoholic drinks, something which many consumers (mostly those, who are below the drinking age) are unaware of. Some consumers choose to drink alcopop because they are under the impression that the alcohol content is lower, thanks to the deceptively sweet and fruity flavor, and this can result in unexpected intoxication.

most of my friends drink this stuff, which is odd to me..

really, i find it less dangerous for your health to consume strong alcoholic drinks in moderate quantities, than drain dozens of these dubious bright'n'colourful bottles, where you don't know what is added in

In the capital of whatever

another weekend spent in town... 

not this time!

*new places, new people - that's better*

well, to cut a long story short, i'll say on Friday, my Friend and I got into the car, turned the music on and left to "the capital of whatever" we were met by Lenin (!) and the spirit of hospitability, which exists only in small towns...

my friend's house is full of prehistoric stuff, like suitcases, brought by his grandfather from Germany more than half a cetury ago, outdated toys and stickers from the early 90-s, a telephone which is used mostly when everyone's drunk and somebody wants to call Stalin  (i've got no idea why him... %)

Friday night was bright! we went to buy drinks first (were looking through the big choice of bottles for more than half an hour and finally took a bottle of vodka and vine =D) when that was done, our groupmates, who live nearby, came to visit us, and absolutely unexpectedly brought another bottle of vodka, when we were already going out... that's how disco party was left until later *) nevertheless, we managed to get to the club and had that night out dancing and drinking...

Saturday morning was troublesome, because the plumbing in the loo broke down... (i was the first to find this out, so everybody decided it was my fault! %)) anyway, we didn't mind and went to the beach to catch some tan. Our evening walk ended up with the rain... though the weather was awful, we spent great time talking till the late hours

Homecoming. tired and happy, listening to metric old songs, driving by blood red poppy fields... i should say, the weekend worked out.

NO, no, no, no, no !

I'm not a football fan, actually. But sometimes it means to me more than just a match. It was that case yesterday =)

Even if you are not at the stadium during the tournament, you can feel the same atmosphere... one doesn't need much to feel like this. Just meet your friends in a crowded sport cafe of any type, order more than just a couple of glasses of beer and be ready to get involved with the success of your team's efforts and to shout loud %)

well, really, it was great, unforgetable, unbelievable, amazing, incredible and awesome! I still can't believe, we r the champions!

The most welcome news I read this morning =>

Visibly disappointed, Werder coach Thomas Schaaf said after the match, as quoted by the BBC:

"We were just not fast enough and not just effective enough. We weren't able to play our usual football, we didn't put enough pressure on our opponents. We gave them too much space and lost too many balls. I congratulate Shakhtar, they were the best team on the night."

nothing special, just another alcoday...

my scientific supervisor EXAMINED my graduate work today AGAIN, and his verdict was *excellent* =)

so, by the end of this week I have to rewrite it and send him the final text.

the evening was... well, it was nice. Cosmopolitan, long island and whiskey finally...

waiting for the weekend to come, already, cause... well, you'll find out later, what is the plan for the weekend

by the way! I gave up smoking, cause you know, the one has to think about his own health and the health of his children, bla bla bla... but my friend smokes this nice colourful cigarettes. i couldn't but take the photo of them

Not much impressive, though a very nice weekend =)

FRIDAY

This weekend started with a huge glass of milk cocktail on Friday afternoon. Later that day my friend and I were invited to the exhibition, where one could buy cosmetics, jewelry  etc. Well… actually it was boring, so I didn’t take photos, but I had to kill time, before one important meeting, so I accepted the invitation

Friday night. Martini’n’vodka, cosmopolitain…  one more… many laughs and talks and, finally(!), an unpremeditated encounter with an old friend, whom I haven’t seen for ages. Exciting discussions, stars in the dark sky, shining  seaport, night drive, double ice-cream… mmm

-Have you ever noticed, that birds start singing at 4 p.m.?

-I’ve never paid attention to this fact…
